The Villeroy & Boch Vieaux Luxembourg bowl – tradition is always modern. The brindille decoration was one of the first to be painted on Villeroy & Boch porcelain. Delicate flowering twigs and filigree decorations on the edges combine with the soft waves of the bright white porcelain. Whether cereals, salads, soups or desserts – this shapely bowl is always just right and is a faithful companion throughout the day.

Delicately detailed and invitingly shaped, it's easy to see why Vieux Luxembourg is one of Villeroy & Boch's most enduring dinnerware patterns. This porcelain soup/cereal bowl measures 5 inches in diameter and features a creamy white glaze over a round body and low pedestal base. Meticulously painted sprays of dark blue flowers circle the outside walls, backed by a textured pattern in the glaze of gracefully undulating ridges. Completing the decoration, a thin, navy line decorates the slightly flared rim. The final effect is both organic and refined, giving a serving of oatmeal or minestrone an even cozier feel. Imported from Germany, this porcelain pattern was first introduced in 1768 and has withstood the test of time and fashion. Today's version is vitrified for durable everyday use and goes safely in the dishwasher and microwave. It also matches an extensive line of serving dishes, accessories, and bakeware–perfect for creating an elegantly coordinated home décor. –Kara Karll
